Making an Impact Donor Spotlight Museum of Discovery and Science 19 Thanks to the generous support of BBX Capital Foundation, MODS was able to partner with several local non-profit agencies, serving underserved children. More than 300 children, ages three to six were invited to attend, at no cost, the Read, Create and Play program at MODS. Guided by Andrew Toffoli, a local children’s author and artist, children created their own storybook character illustration and received a signed copy of one of Andrew Toffoli’s books to take home. Children were provided the opportunity to explore and play in the Museum’s traveling exhibits Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog and Curious George: Let’s Get Curious! Photo opportunities for the children were also provided with Curious George and Clifford characters. MODS is proud to announce a $1 million award from the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust to expand and enhance the Museum’s “To Fly” permanent exhibit.
