The Museum expanded its resources in 2011with the opening of its new EcoDiscovery Center wing. And our history continues to expand. The Museum since 1992 has served over 10 million visitors, opening pathways to discovery in science, encouraging STEM literacy and providing a major resource for both tourism and education. As we go forward, we look forward to adding a dynamic Science Park in our “backyard” bordering Broward Boulevard. Giant full body exhibits will demonstrate key principles of physics and engineering, while encouraging group interaction outdoors. MODS is committed to advancing public engagement in science, technology, engineering and math – and our Science Park will be a key element in implementing this vision. Kim L.
