The Museum provides education, youth development and internship programs to help cultivate basic job skills, discover career aptitudes, enrich STEM education and help build a brighter future for the youth in our communities. More than 62,000 students participate in STEM programs each year. Grow Up Great is an early childhood program and the latest addition to our STEM Center. Research shows that children who participate in high- quality preschool programs are far more likely to experience greater educational achievements, strive toward higher vocational aspirations and contribute to society later in life. The Grow Up Great program is inspired by the PNC Grow Up Great Lesson Center, an early childhood education resource that helps enhance inquiry learning techniques. PNC Grow Up Great was developed in partnership with some of the nation’s most highly respected early childhood experts and nonprofit organizations to help guide this initiative.
