APP-titude, an Internship Program Made possible by Launched in 2014 by the Museum and generously supported by United Way of Broward County, App-titude is a two-year internship for high school juniors/seniors. The innovative program is designed to expose students to careers in engineering and computer science while being introduced to coding and APP development. Funding from the DEA Foundation provided 2,174 free admissions for middle school students and chaperones. Keith Koenig, President of City Furniture, the local sponsor of the exhibit. Drugs: Costs and Consequences Exhibit sponsored by Becoming 3D provided 3D printing equipment for the Museum’s 3D printing lab. Becoming 3D Volunteers contributed 27,188 hours helping the Museum achieve its mission and enhance the visitor experience. Museum Volunteer Program 501st Everglades Squad was out in full force for Rogue One – Star Wars IMAX opening. The Museum welcomed Kaplan University’s 2017 nationwide Serve-a-Thon volunteers.
