The Leonardo da Vinci Society is the individual giving society established by the Museum of Discovery and Science in 1993. The involvement of this prestigious group of individual donors reflects a shared belief in the importance of the Museum’s role in science education.
Members of this special group of donors play a vital role in the life of the Museum. They serve as unofficial goodwill ambassadors with their expanded knowledge of the Museum gained through behind-the-scenes tours, special presentations, exclusive social events and family gatherings.

LEVELS OF INVESTMENT
In recognition of your generosity and commitment as a Leonardo da Vinci Society member, you will receive the following benefits and privileges, depending on your level of involvement.


INVENTOR LAUREATE LEVEL
(3 Year Commitment @ $1,000 a year)
  • Complimentary Manatee Family Membership
  • Family invitations to exclusive LDVS events to preview select IMAX® films and exhibits.
  • Invitations to exclusive LDVS social events.
  • Behind-the-Scenes tours.
  • Name permanently inscribed on the donor wall prominently displayed in the Museum lobby.
  • Name recognition as an Inventor Laureate member in Museum’s Annual Report.

EXPLORER LAUREATE LEVEL
(3 Year Commitment @ $2,000 a year)
  • Same benefits as above plus...
  • Complimentary IMAX® film passes to the IMAX Theater all year (up to 6 guests per visit).
    *Reservations must be made in advance to guarantee seating at show requested.
  • 2 complimentary VIP reservations to the Wine & Culinary Celebration 2010.
  • 6 complimentary passes to the Museum’s popular Turtle Walks.

DISCOVER LAUREATE LEVEL
(3 Year Commitment @ $5,000 a year)
  • Same benefits as above plus...
  • 4 complimentary VIP reservations to the Museum Wine & Culinary Celebration 2010.
  • 2 complimentary reservations to the Museum’s annual Gala on October 3, 2009.
  • A once a year complimentary event space to host a special event for your family or business. Event may include an IMAX® film selected from the Museum’s library of classic IMAX films.
    (Limited to 100 guests) Reservation numbers are total, not cumulative.
