HOW TO BUY IMAX® TICKETS 

HOLLYWOOD FILMS
Tickets for our Hollywood films can be purchased using the following methods:

All Tickets are General Admission:
Seating is provided on a first-come, first-seated basis.

Refund Policy:
All Sales Are Final. No refunds or exchanges for any reason including seat location.

DOCUMENTARY FILMS
Tickets for our 45-minute documentary films can be purchased using the following methods:

BOX OFFICE
The box office is located in the Museum's Atrium.

Monday – Saturday Opens 9:30am.  Closes 15 minutes after start of last IMAX show
Sunday Opens 11:00am.  Closes 15 minutes after start of last IMAX show

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

  • ONLINE TICKETS: Online ticket sales for each show end 2 hours before show time.

  • REFUND POLICY:  All Sales Are Final. No refunds, no exchanges and no replacements for any reason including lost tickets, stolen tickets, illness or seat location.

  • ADMISSION:  A valid ticket is required for admission. General Admission seating is provided on a first-come, first-seated basis. We strongly recommend you arrive at least one hour prior to show time especially for blockbuster films due to sold out shows.

  • MILITARY TICKETS:  If you purchased military tickets, please be prepared to present a valid military I.D. upon request.

  • MATINEE SHOWS:  The first show of the day is a matinee show.  Your ticket includes Museum exhibits admission. You're welcome to visit the Museum before or after your show.  The Museum is open Mon - Sat 10:00am - 5:00pm; Sun 12noon - 6:00pm.

  • BACKPACKS & LARGE BAGS:  Backpacks, oversized handbags and large bags of any type are not permitted in the IMAX Theater. Management reserves the right to inspect all bags.  A limited number of small lockers are available on site to store your bag(s) for $.50 per use.  We strongly recommend you leave your items in your car before you head to the theater.

  • FOOD & BEVERAGES: Popcorn, snacks and beverages are available at the IMAX Concessions Stand.  If you want to grab a bite before the movie, we have an on-site Subway Café and Auntie Anne's open until 5:00 p.m. daily.  Sorry, Subway, Auntie Anne’s and outside food are not allowed in the IMAX Theater.

  • PARKING:  Information about parking is available on our website:  www.mods.org/visit/parking.htm

  • ADDRESS:  The AutoNation IMAX Theater is located at the Museum of Discovery and Science in downtown Fort Lauderdale.  Our address is 401 S.W. Second Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
